SOLD - M38 US Tanker Helmet

3/31/23 - This is an original WW2 US M38 Tanker helmet. The helmet is in great overall condition with no notable maker stamps or markings. The exterior shell has surface scuffing and typical aging patina, but no major issues. The leather exterior brim band is in great shape with all original stitching intact. The original leather liner is still intact as well, although a few of the stitches along the back brim are missing (shown in photos). This is only a few stitches and doesn't affect the fit or function. The leather shows typical aging and surface wear but no excessive damage. Under the leather liner on the interior shell is written "63" perhaps for size. Some of the buttons on the adjustment straps are loose or missing, but this is only one or two. The original chinstrap is tattered but still attached.
