4/14/25 - This is a nice example of a Colt New Navy Model 1894 .38 DA revolver from 1898. Issued to the US Navy. Comes as a rig with a "USN" Navy marked tan leather holster. The gun is all matching, and the butt is marked "USN" with an anchor marking, serial number, and Navy property number. The gun's original high polish bluing rates roughly 80%. The majority of the wear is concentrated on the grip straps, around the muzzle, and around the muzzle. There are some areas of surface scratching, most noticeable on the right side of the frame. Nice fire-bluing on the small parts. Fitted with period-correct hard rubber grips - repaired hairline crack on the left side. Mint bore.
