SOLD - WW2 US M1 Helmet with Liner (041023-11)

Description

4/12/23 - This is an original WW2 US M1 Helmet with an original liner. The helmet shell is in great overall condition with some typical surface patina throughout the exterior, but no dents or major issues. The interior shell is lot numbered "557B" with fixed bales, which indicate late WW2 production by McCord. The canvas chinstrap attached to the shell is original and in excellent condition. The helmet liner is maker stamped on the interior crown by Firestone. There's some mild aging and sue wear, but no major issues. The leather liner chinstrap has some cracking throughout the leather, but is still intact. The front brim has a minor hairline crack in the liner. Great overall condition.
