SOLD - National Denki T30 Bayonet

4/19/23 - This is an original WW2 Japanese T30 Rifle bayonet by National Denki (Matsushita Arsenal). The bayonet has early features such as a hooked crossguard, wrap-around wood grips, bird's head pommel, blued fullered blade, and a tubular shaped scabbard tip. Known as a variation F in Labar's book. The blade is in great condition but there are rough spots of surface wear and rust on each side of the blade, as shown. Unfortunately, this takes away from what would be an otherwise minty example. The metal portions of the hilt / pommel have mild surface patina mixed throughout the original finish. The grips have no cracks or chips. The metal scabbard is in great condition with some mild surface patina and a few very small dings / dents.
