SOLD - National Denki T30 Bayonet with Frog

6/13/24 - This is an excellent Type 30 bayonet by National Denki. The bayonet features an excellent blued and fullered blade that shows minor thinning towards the tip and natural scabbard rub wear. Clean edge with standard sharpening. The hooked quillion hand guard had dark spots of surface patina but still retains some of the original blued finish, which extends along the spine and on small portions of the flat-sided bird's head pommel. The pommel has dark patina throughout. Serial numbered on the top of the pommel as shown. Excellent wrap-around wood grips 2 rivets. This textbook example is accompanied by a cone-tipped metal scabbard that has natural aging patina throughout. A good portion of the original finish remains. Dented on the backside near the midway point of the scabbard, but this doesn't affect fit or function. The frog is unmarked and hardened stiff (no pliability). Overall an excellent example.
