SOLD - Rare RAD Single Decal M40 Helmet

4/21/23 - This is an original, rare variation WW2 M40 RAD (Reich Labor Service) helmet. The helmet has a singular external decal with an RAD Eagle logo within a black shield emblem. The decal is in about 85% condition with some typical aging and small areas of chipped finish. The shell is in great condition with surface aging throughout, but no dents or major issues. Typical surface wear and mild patina. The interior shell is "ET" maker stamped and a large size "64". Lot numbered "865" on the back visor of the interior. The 3 helmet rivets are slightly loose and show signs of tampering. We believe the metal liner band is original, but the leather liner has been replaced. The replacement leather liner is in great condition but we believe is a professionally aged, high quality reproduction. The metal liner band, along with the rest of the helmet, is original however. Price reduced accordingly.
