SOLD - M40 Luftwaffe Helmet - ET64

Description

5/2/23 - This is an original single decal Luftwaffe M40 helmet from WW2. The helmet has a Luftwaffe Eagle decal above the left ear on the exterior, as shown. The decal is about 60-70% intact with portions of the wings and body missing. The original dark blue-grey paint is in great condition throughout the shell with no major issues and some typical surface patina and aging throughout. No dents in the shell and no signs of repainting. The interior shell is stamped "ET64" and the back visor is lot numbered "783". The original metal liner band and leather liner are in great condition with some mild surface aging and scuffing around the rounded portion of the leather. The interior crown of the shell shows an original manufacturers ink stamp.
