Description

5/2/18 - This is an original K98 bayonet, all matching and complete with original scabbard, leather frog (dated 1941), and portepee. The bayonet handle is waffen WaA253 proof stamped with excellent original bluing and no cracks or chips in the bakelite. The blade is beautifully blued as well with "8821 c" serial number and a maker stamp on the reverse side. The scabbard is similarly excellent and serial numbered to match. The portepee is attached by a leather strap and is in great condition with minimal wear and some fading of the original yellow and white colors. Guaranteed all original.
