6/13/23 - This is a nice example of a Colt Frontier Six Shooter, manufactured in 1881 and chambered in .44 Caliber. Replaced 7.5" barrel. The rest of the gun is matching. We believe the gun has been refinished, and it has retained roughly 70% of its bluing. There is fairly even thinning throughout and pin-pricking covering most of the gun. Spotty oxidation on the hammer. Fitted with very nice ivory grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
