Description
5/15/25 - This is a rare and desirable Colt Cavalry Single Action Army revolver from 1876. It is completely matching and original with proper 7.5in barrel. It is "US" Property marked on the frame with mixed martial markings throughout (even visible on the bottom edge of the right panel). There is a scarce "JD" military acceptance proof on the frame, which stands for Lt. David Lyle. There are military cartouches on both grip panels, and the left side is dated 1876. This gun is in fair condition for its age, but there is obvious brown "attic patina" covering the whole gun. Fully functional with all four "clicks". The bore is very nice for its age, shiny with strong rifling and just some light spotty oxidation here and there. No FFL required.Specifications
