Description

5/15/25 - This is a rare and desirable Colt Cavalry Single Action Army revolver from 1879. It is completely matching and original with proper 7.5in barrel. It is "US" Property marked on the frame with "W" and "HN" martial markings throughout (even visible on the bottom edge of the right panel). No visible military cartouches on the grip panels, but the left side is dated 1878. This gun is in fair condition for its age, but it has lost nearly all of its original finish with spotty oxidation and minor pitting throughout. small crack on bottom edge of the left grip panel. Fully functional with all four "clicks". The bore shows surface oxidation and pitting throughout. No FFL required.
