Description

8/8/19 - This is an original 1943 dated K98 bayonet with a matching serial numbered scabbard. Also included is a black leather frog. The frog has some normal aging / wrinkling on the leather and all original stitching. The bayonet has a red bakelite handle with some patina throughout the metal portions of the handle. The blade itself has beautiful bluing and minimal signs of use. The scabbard has some finish thinning and beginning signs of rust / patina speckled throughout. Overall a very nice collector grade bayonet.
