SOLD - 1943 K98 Bayonet with Matching Scabbard

11/15/22 - This is an original 1943 production K98 bayonet with the original matching numbered scabbard. The bayonet blade is maker stamped and dated "43 fze" on one side, and serial numbered on the other. The scabbard is similarly stamped near the mouth opening. The blade shows no signs of sharpening and has most of the original blued finish intact. There's some small spots of patina and surface discoloration, as well as some scabbard rub wear mostly near the tip. The handle has spotty surface patina and mild rust discoloration throughout the hand guard and pommel, but no deep pitting or major issues. The scabbard has light surface patina throughout as shown, but no dents.
