8/3/21 - This is a WW2 Japanese Officer's Field cap. The exterior is in great overall condition with some mild wear and signs of aging but no significant holes or issues. There is some rust around the metal rings used as air holes on either side and back of the cap. The interior leather brim has wear throughout but is mostly in tact. There's some Japanese writing on the interior as shown.
