8/12/21 - This is an original US Mare Island No 10 flag from WW2. The flag is ink stamped "U.S. No 10 MI 44". The number 10 corresponds to the flag size, which is 2.9 x 5.51 feet. The flag has 48 sewn-on stars, and is in great overall condition. There is a small hole just under the 2nd row of stars, and this is the only significant damage on the entire flag. The hole is small and can be seen in photos. There's also some mild yellowing on a few stars, but overall this flag is in great condition.
