WW2 Japanese Bayonet - Child Training Bayonet?

12/16/24 - This is a good example of what we believe to be a Japanese Child's Training bayonet from WW2. This bayonet is modeled after the standard type 30 bayonet of WW2. What leads us to believe that this might be a Child's Training bayonet is the lesser quality of manufacturing on the cross guard, pommel and scabbard, as well as, having no makers marks. The blade on this bayonet is in great shape and does appear to be made to the same quality as standard type 30 bayonets. As stated prior, the blade is not maker marked. The cross guard and pommel are in good shape, but do have oxidation. The scabbard on this bayonet is constructed from folded metal that is welded along the edge, and has a ball on the end welded to the tip, as seen in the photos. The scabbard is in good overall condition with no major dents, but does have some areas of oxidation.
