Description

10/1/19 - This is an original Mauser Gew. 98 or similar WWI era rifle bayonet. The bayonet is maker stamped by Mauser on both the scabbard and the blade. The blade is also imperial proof stamped, and 1916 dated on the spine. The blade is in excellent condition with no signs of sharpening. There is some patina on the handle, and a few minor dings on the spine of the handle, but no major issues. The scabbard has one or two very minor dents, and some rust / patina throughout the entirety of the scabbard. All original and authentic.
