Description
10/18/22 - This is an original US Army model 1902 Officer's sword. Interestingly, the sword is maker stamped "CE" for Carl Eickhorn. The blade is beautiful, with excellent engravings on each side of the blade as well as the spine. The blade is very clean throughout, but the edge has a few small dents and nicks, indicating prior misuse. No signs of sharpening and minimal discoloration. The ricasso is maker stamped on one side, and the front "spine" of the ricasso is "GERMANY" export stamped. The hand guard has natural patina throughout but no major issues, and the handle has no cracks or chips. The scabbard has dark patina and surface discoloration throughout, but no dents. Also comes with an attached chain hanger (unmarked).Specifications
