11/4/24 - This is an original WW2 German M42 helmet. The helmet is a model 42 with flat (not rolled) edges around the brim of the shell. The shell has a field grey paint job and retains almost all of its original paint. The shell has wear typical of its age, but does not have any dents or dings in the shell. The shell has the makers mark of "EF66". This stamp points to the manufacturer of Emaillerwerke A.G. in Fulda, Germany. The 66 is for the size of the helmet shell. The shell is also heat stamped "16173". The helmet also has a liner inside that is ink stamped with "59". The helmet also has it's chin strap.Specifications
