10/24/24 - This is a 1941 production LP34 Flare pistol from WW2. The pistol has a Duraluminum construction and single-barrel design. All correct and matching parts that rate in 95% overall condition. The left side of the pistol shows an "duv" stamp and a 41 date stamp. It is also serial numbered "9981". The small parts all have matching eagle/214 acceptance proofs, including the bottom lanyard loop and the grip screw. There is some mild edge and muzzle wear. The bore is clean and in overall excellent shape. The grips are in excellent condition. There is some minor oxidation in the groves of the hammer, and on the lanyard loop. This flare pistol is fully functional with a smooth action.
