Description
10/31/24 - This is a great example of a WW2, M35 German helmet made by Eisenh?ºttenwerk Thale. This helmet is in great overall condition with no major dents or damage to the helmet shell. This helmet also maintains it's original leather interior, the leather is still intact and pliable. This helmet has been embellished with reproduction SS runes on both sides of the helmet. To our knowledge and research, there were never double SS decal helmets. Additionally this helmet was examined by an industry leader in SS helmet authentication and he concluded the same results as we did. This helmet is also embellished with what we believe to be a reproduction "Chicken Wire" outer wrap. This style of outer wrap was something that was done by the Germans during WW2 and allowed the soldier to camouflage his helmet easier. This helmet would make a fantastic piece for any reenactor or as a display piece. This helmet was featured in one of our YouTube videos, that can be viewed HERE.
