Description

4/4/24 - This is a very nice example of a unique antique French MAS Ideal side by side shotgun, chambered in 16 GA. It is fully functional, all matching, and has the proper French proofs throughout. This particular gun also has a unique sling feature. There is more detail on this in the below Youtube video. The metal parts have retained most of their finish, but there is spotty brown patina throughout and thinning on the receiver. The wood is very nice overall, but there is a repaired crack in the wrist. Excellent, shiny bores. A rubber butt pad has been added.
