SOLD - Takedown Luftwaffe Gravity Knife (120622-14)

Description

12/7/22 - This is an original Luftwaffe Gravity Knife from WW2. This is the "takedown" variation with a square button for easy field repair and cleaning. The blade is in good condition with honest use wear throughout. The edge has been sharpened and there's no visible markings or stamps on the blade. The metal portions of the handle, housing, and release lever all have surface patina and natural aging, but no rust or pitting. There's three hairline cracks stemming from the base of the wood grips. The numbered parts on the release lever are matching, but the internal parts are mis-matched. The spine is Luftwaffe proof stamped as shown. Mechanically sound despite some mild "play".
