1/19/21 - This is a 1944 production Smith-Corona 03-A3 rifle from the end of WW2. The rifle has a 1944 Remington barrel, which is correct for a Smith-Corona. The stock appears to be a field replacement (based on the shape / style) and there are no inspector proofs or stamps on the wood. The metal parts have some browned patina, mostly on the floorplate and trigger guard. the barrel, receiver, and barrel bands are in great overall condition with some mild wear. the bore has light signs of use with minor wear in the grooves, but good shape overall rating at 8.5/10. Comes with a Bucheimer leather sling.
