Description
11/15/24 - This is an excellent example of Koschat Combination Gun. This gun is a boxlock over-under Shotgun-Rifle combination. The top barrel is a 16GA ,2-3/4" shell, shotgun and the bottom is a 8x57 JRS rifle barrel. This gun was produced in 1953 in Austria by Master Gunsmith Jakob Koschat. The action of this gun has very finely engraved Alpine hunting scenes. This rifle comes with a period correct leather sling, as well as a vintage Noris 4x scope with Suhl mounts. The bore of this gun is in excellent condition and the rifling is strong. The stock on this gun is made of fancy walnut. The stock does have honest handling marks that come with age, however there are no major chips or cracks. This is a classic example of an early post-WW2 combination gun made by a master gunsmith.Specifications
