Description
4/14/21 - This is a fairly rare Papa Nambu made in the early 1920s. This Papa Nambu, like most, is in generally poor condition. This is due to the salt air and humid climate on the Japanese Islands. Most Papa Nambu pistols were Navy issued and marked with an anchor. This one was Army issued, as best we can tell due to the lack of anchor marking. The gun is not matching numbered, similar to most Papa Nambus on the market today. The pistol comes with an original Type 14 leather holster, and the fit is good. There is some mild wear on the holster, and a small hole in the top of the lid, but generally the holster is in good condition. This rare rig has some "honest wear" but would certainly serve as a place filler for a Japanese pistol collection.Specifications
