Description
1/17/23 - This is a rare Papa Nambu made in the early 1920s. Most Papa Nambu pistols were Navy issued and marked with an anchor. This one was Army issued, as best we can tell due to the lack of anchor marking. The pistol comes as a rig with a reproduction Type 14 leather holster (the fit is good), a reproduction cleaning rod, and original magazine that does not match the gun. The entire gun has been professionally restored and refinished, so the bluing is really nice, almost no actual finish loss. There is just some minor pin-pricking under the bluing on the right side of the gun. The rifling in the bore is fairly worn with pin-pricking and light oxidation in the grooves.Specifications
