Description

7/27/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout, even on the small parts. It has retained about 93% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle and hints of wear on the high edges of the slide. Very minor thinning on the top of the barrel through the ejection port. Areas of spotty oxidation around the muzzle, on the front strap, and on the top of the barrel through the ejection port. A few very light scratches on the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct numbered but mismatched Walther magazine. De-cocker is functional.
