5/26/21 - This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. While the gun has very little finish loss, there are areas of spotty oxidation and pitting on the safety lever, back left of the slide, left middle of the slide, right front of the side, around the muzzle, and underside of the trigger guard. There is very minor thinning and patina on the front strap. Without the pitting, the gun would be near-mint. Comes with excellent grips and a mismatched magazine that is very close in number. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and areas of minor freckling. De-cocker is functional.
