Description

10/1/21 - For you "odd ball" collectors, this is one you want to take a look at. This is a Spreewerke made P.38 but left in the factory at the end of the war, then reworked by the Czech's. The right side of slide has a single Eagle 88. Left trigger guard has an E, a Czech lion, and a sunburst proof (likely East German). Right side trigger guard is 46 marked - the year it was reworked. It is all matching except for the locking block. It has retained about 93% of its finish. There is minor thinning on the front strap and minor scratchy wear concentrated around the high edges of the slide. Some very minor pin-pricking on the left side of the slide. There is also some very minor spotty wear on the underside of the barrel. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct jvd magazine. The magazine is hand-numbered to match. Given that fact and the East German proof, it likely went to the East German police. The bore is near-mint. De-cocker is functional.
