Description
1/11/21 - For you "odd ball" collectors, this is one you want to take a look at. This is a Walther Mod P.38 that was left in the factory at the end of the war, then reworked by the Czech's. The right side of slide has a single Eagle 88. Left trigger guard has E and Czech lion. Right side trigger guard is 46 marked - the year it was reworked. All numbers match, but it was renumbered or in some cases, first numbered when it was reworked, post war. The locking block has the correct numbers, but some are upside down, probably just a factory error. It has nice reddish grips. There is an old repair on the right panel. We don't know a lot about these guns but know that even though they are post war assembly they are desired by collectors. Only a few thousand made! It has retained about 98% of its finish - there are just some handling marks on the barrel and front end of the slide. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling and just a little bit of freckling. It comes with one matching magazine.Specifications
