Description

9/17/21 - This is an excellent example of a rare Zero Series Spreewerk P.38 manufactured at the end of WW2, in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper Zero Series proofs. It is believed that these guns were issued to the Volkssturm troops. This one has a dark finish, so we believe it has been "Russian dipped". There are no Russian "X's". In any case, it has retained about 98% of its finish. While there is very little finish loss, there is minor pitting on the barrel and some areas of spotty rust on the front strap, underside of the frame, and on the right side of the barrel. Comes with excellent grips (initials "AZ" scratched into the left panel) and a period-correct un-marked magazine (areas of pitting throughout). The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
