Description

11/30/22 - This is a rare Krieghoff Luger from 1936 with an S Code on the receiver. There were only about 3,600 of this variation produced. This one is all matching and has the proper Krieghoff "Eagle L 2" Luftwaffe acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there are areas of heavy oxidation and pitting on the right side of the frame and on the barrel. Spotty oxidation on both grip straps. Generally, there is wear around the high edges, other spots of oxidation here and there, and some light scratches on both sides of the gun. The straw parts have lost most of their original straw coloring. The gun comes with excellent un-numbered wood grips and two period-correct mismatched Krieghoff magazines. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with some areas of minor freckling.
