Description
11/23/21 - This is an excellent example of an early Erfurt Luger P.08 issued to the Imperial German military in 1912. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide. There is additional "1920" date on the chamber, indicating it was reworked after WW1. The gun has early features such as no stock lug and originally had no hold-open. A hold-open was added later. When the gun was reworked, it was entirely refinished and given a matching arsenal-numbered wood-bottom magazine. It has retained virtually all of its new bluing with just hints of wear on the high edges and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent mismatched wood grips. The right panel has some light bruising and one very small chip. The bore has strong rifling with some very minor oxidation in the grooves.Specifications
