Description

1/25/22 - This is a nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Droop Wing Eagle 63" Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also spotty brown patina. There is also minor wear on the side plate, on the front edges of the side rails, and around the muzzle. Some very light pin-pricking on the barrel and left side of the frame. There is also an area of very light scratchy wear to the left of the safety lever. Comes with excellent un-numbered wood grips (one small bruise on the right side) and a mismatched period-correct magazine. The bore has strong rifling with just a hint of pin-pricking throughout.
