Description

8/23/21 - This is an early and original Erfurt Luger from 1913. Early frame with hold open alteration visible and no stock lug, actually a fairly rare variation. All parts are matching including the hold open, firing pin, grips and magazine. Unique to these early Erfurts are the proof marks on every part. Even both grip screws have the tiny Erfurt proof on them. The finish is original and covers maybe 80-90% of the gun, however much of it has turned a brown patina and is somewhat tough to rate. The action is tight and fully functional. The bore is only a 6 out of 10 as it has a bit of corrosion and cloudiness.
