Description
3/30/22 - This is the rarest Artillery Luger variant, and the first we've ever offered on site! It's an original, all matching example of a 1914 DWM LP.08. Jan Still's estimated production in Central Powers Pistols is 750-1500, and many of the known examples have been altered or are unoriginal in some respect. This gun is reported by serial in Still's book! This pistol is all original with 96-97% blue remaining, showing minimal bluing loss but some pitting on the side plate, left side rail and muzzle. Receiver properly has three consecutive Crown/S proofs. The grips are matching and original to the pistol. The magazine is period original but mismatched. Small parts show minimal original straw. Bore has strong rifling but minor freckling in some of the grooves.Specifications
