Description
5/28/21 - This is a very nice example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German army in 1914. It then was issued to the Nazi police force during WW2, as indicated by the "1920" rework stamp on the receiver and the fact that it was tapped for a police sear safety. The sear safety is missing. It comes with a period-correct leather holster and two matching-numbered WW2-era magazines that were numbered at the police arsenal. It also comes with an original capture document. The gun is all matching and has Imperial profs. It has retained about 93% of its original bluing. There is a noticeable area of wear on the left side of the frame and minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Very minor pin-pricking in the same areas. A few very small pits on the front strap. Comes with excellent waffen-proofed grips - one minor bruise on the left side. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
