Description
10/16/26 - This is a Colt Army Special revolver, manufactured in 1917 and chambered in .38 Special. It is all matching. The gun has been re-blued, and there is very minor high edge and muzzle wear. There are areas of scratches and marks, most noticeable along the barrel, and there is some thinning and light freckling on the back strap. Fitted with nice checkered wood grips. Most of the bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is a slight bulge in the barrel about an inch from the muzzle end. We would not recommend firing it without first having it inspected by a gunsmith. A WWI-era Colt Army Special that makes a nice display piece.
