Description

6/15/21 - This is a very nice example of an Italian Brescia Model 1891 Carcano Carbine, manufactured in 1917. The gun is all matching and has the proper proofs. There are areas of minor spotty oxidation here and there and some dulling in the finish on the receiver. The stock is excellent and matches the gun. The markings are a little faint, so it may have been lightly sanded. The rifling in the bore is strong, but there is pin-pricking in the grooves. The gun comes with an excellent reproduction leather sling.
