Description
8/31/23 - This is a nice example of a Brescia Carcano Carbine issued to the Italian military in 1916. It is all matching, but the stock appears to have been re-numbered to match. It comes with a period-correct bayonet and metal scabbard. The bayo is numbered but does not match the gun. The metal parts of the gun itself have retained about 97% of their finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is light brown patina under most of the finish and a few small spots of discoloration on the receiver. Very nice wood furniture overall, but there is a repaired hairline crack in the upper handguard and it fits a little loose. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with pitting throughout.Specifications
