Description
6/18/21 - This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs. It was reworked in the 1920's, as evidenced by the "1920" rework stamp on the chamber. It comes with a WW2-era matching magazine, so it was likely issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. The magazine was likely numbered at the police arsenal. It has retained roughly 65% of its finish. Most of the wear is on the straps, but there is wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Areas of thinning and patina on the left side of the frame and around the chamber. Comes with excellent period-correct grips that are mismatched. The bore has pretty good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
