Description

3/4/22 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1917 Revolver issued to the US military during WW1. It is properly "United States Property" marked on the underside of the barrel. The entire gun has been re-parkerized, so some of the markings are faint. It has retained about 96-97% of its new finish. There is very minor thinning on the grip straps and light scratches/surface scuffs here and there, most noticeable along the barrel and on the left side of the frame. There is minor wear on the high edges of the cylinder and a light roll mark. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Original lanyard loop is intact. Very nice wood grips that are un-numbered. The bore has strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking right around the muzzle.
