Description
3/10/22 - This is a rare "480 Code" Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. Only about 7,300 of these guns were produced, making the 480 Code a rare variation. This one comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The grips are also waffen-proofed and numbered on the inside to match the gun. This particular gun has retained roughly 80% of its original early high polish finish. The most noticeable signs of finish loss are areas of splotchy discoloration on the front strap, back half of the slide, on the tang, and through the ejection port. There is also wear around the high edges, around the muzzle, and some light spotty wear on the underside of the frame. The bore has strong rifling with areas of light freckling throughout. The de-cocker is functional but a little stiff.Specifications
