Description
1/12/21 - This is a rare Walther P.38 with 480 code on slide and frame, and it still has the original, matching magazine!! The 480 code pistols were the first serially produced P.38s made by Walther. There were only 7,300 produced, and this one has the earlier, round lanyard ring. This particular example is pretty early, but it's especially rare for having the matching magazine. A comparatively disproportionate amount of this variation are still found with their original magazine, and this one also has the matching, original grips. Pistol is all original and correct but does have some thinning throughout, most pronounced on the front strap and right side of the slide. Bore has strong rifling but a little frost throughout. The grips show some handling wear but no major issues. Safety works, but not as a de-cocker.Specifications
