Description
10/28/26 - This is a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. After Mauser Oberndorf took over P.08 production from DWM in the early 1930s, its Lugers were marked with the secret "S/42" code on the toggle to conceal the maker's identity as Germany quietly rearmed. All matching with the proper "Eagle 63" military acceptance proofs. Please note that the hold open is completely missing; the gun is otherwise functional. The finish rates roughly 70-75%, with the finish loss concentrated mostly along the barrel and high edges. There is also some thinning and brown patina on the grip straps and noticeable spotty oxidation on the barrel. Fitted with unnumbered wood grips with some minor bruising on both sides. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 63" magazine. The bore rates a 7/10, with decent rifling but noticeable frosting in the grooves.
