Description
10/20/26 - This is a Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung, manufactured in 1936 and chambered in 7.65mm. It is all matching and marked "R.F.V. 7310 W" on the front strap. This Third Reich department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters - much like our own IRS and border police. The original finish rates roughly 85%, with finish loss on the grip straps, some light grinding marks on the back strap, general high edge and muzzle wear, and some areas of noticeable scratching on both sides of the slide and the right side of the frame. The safety lever is a more modern nickeled replacement, and the front sight has been painted white. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips, and comes with a proper Walther banner-only magazine. The bore is 8/10, with great rifling but some light frosting in the grooves.
