Description
3/25/22 - This is a nice example of a French MAB Model D made under Nazi occupation and issued to the Nazi military during WW2. The gun is all matching, has the proper "Waffen 251" military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide, and has a Nazi Eagle test proof on the barrel. The gun has only retained about 10% of its original finish. There is significant finish loss throughout, and the only remaining bluing is mainly on the sides of the frame. There are also tiny dots of oxidation throughout. There is a tiny dent in the slide, just behind the front sight. Comes with period-correct black bakelite grips - there is noticeable warping in both grips, so the screws don't line up perfectly. They do, however, keep the grips secured down. On the right panel, there are a couple of small chips along the edge and a crack around the top screw. The bore is shiny with good rifling, but there is a noticeable bulge in the barrel about halfway down. Original lanyard ring is intact.Specifications
