Description
6/26/25 - This is a nice example of a CZ Model 38 manufactured in 1939. This one is part of the early Nazi military contract. It is in the proper 250000-291000 serial range and has the proper features, such as high polish finish and Czech Lion proofs throughout. This one does have "Waffen 76" proofs on the left side of the frame and on the barrel. However, we do not think these proofs are original because waffen-proofed guns appear much later and are usually in the "B" prefix serial range. The gun has retained about 96% of its original bluing. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some pitting on the left side of the slide. Fitted with an excellent one piece reddish bakelite grip - no cracks or chips. Comes with a proper magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling.
