Description

12/1/23 - This is a very nice example of a CZ Model 38 manufactured in 1939. This one is part of the early Nazi military contract. It is in the proper 250000-291000 serial range and has the proper features, such as high polish finish and Czech Lion proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a rare, waffen-proofed, 1940-dated CZ 38 holster and one magazine that has a period-correct tube and a replaced base. The gun has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. There is general high edge wear, some spotty wear along the top of the slide, and some tiny scratches here and there. Excellent period-correct bakelite grip - no cracks or chips. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
